How Far Along: 35 Weeks (my due date is a month from Sunday!!) I have a feeling he will be a late one though :)

Size of Baby: Honeydew Melon

Weight Gain: 29 lbs as of last week. I am definitely going to make it to that 35, that's for sure :)

Symptoms: A little swelling in my hands and feet, gotta pee all the time, lower back sometimes starts to hurt if I lift heavy things, I've had some cramping but nothing serious, and feeling hungry more often.

Maternity Clothes: Of course. Regular clothes are basically out of the question. Lots and lots of leggings and stretchy pants. Also I am now moving on to purchasing nursing bras and tops! Yay :)

Movement: This is still my favorite part about pregnancy. I love feeling him move. He has been so nice to mommy and hasn't caused me any sort of pain with his movements. No kicks in the ribs or anything. It's just wonderful. Sometimes I will poke or pat on my belly to see if he puts up a fight, surely he does. Sorry baby, I know that's probably annoying.

Food Cravings: Not really having any anymore. Still love my salty foods though :)

Sleep: I now sleep with 3 pillows, one for my head, one between my knees, and one to keep me from rolling over onto my back in the middle of the night. I have been so lucky to have such an easy time falling back asleep when I wake up in the middle of the night to change positions, cool off, or pee. I really can't complain!

Belly Button: Creepy. Haha it stares at everyone through my clothes. It's basically a full on outie now.

What I Miss: A body with less stretch marks. But I've been really positive about it, and I'm calling them my love scars! It helps me to be okay with the fact that my body is changing! :)

What I Look Forward To: Packing our hospital bag. I went out and started buying stuff that we will need to bring like snacks and such and I will write a post on here as to what we are bringing!

What Daddy Looks Forward To: He told me that he's really looking forward to the first few weeks because he is taking that time off to spend more time with me and baby Hiatt. He just can't wait to be a dad!

  1. Oh yes, the stretch marks. :) I'm so glad you have a positive attitude about them because they really will be a reminder to you now and in the future of what an amazing miracle pregnancy/giving birth is. The human body is SUCH an amazing thing (giving birth just proves that even more) and I wouldn't give up my stretch marks for anything--they are my battle wounds. :)
