How Far Along
18 weeks and 5 days
Size of baby:
Sweet potato
Total Weight Gain: 
I haven't stepped on a scale lately but last visit I think I had gained 4-5 pounds
Stretch Marks: None yet thank goodness but I know they are on the horizon... speaking of... if any one has tips that would be appreciated!
Maternity Clothes: 
Just unbuttoning the jeans :) 
Gender:
Boy oh boy
Movement: 
Lots according to the ultrasound and doppler but so far I haven't felt movement
Sleep: 
I'm not as tired as I was first trimester so I'm not sleeping as much but sleep is often interrupted by bathroom breaks
What I miss: Feeling fit ha
Food Cravings: 
The only strong cravings I have had since I found out I was pregnant were orange juice and french fries. Not together. Cravings are pretty much over though.
Food Aversions: None anymore but the first trimester I couldn't eat a whole lot of the fruits and vegetables that I used to love
Symptoms: 
I pee all the time. The pressure from my uterus on my bladder is already evident.
What I’m looking forward to: 
Finding a doctor out in California. Hopefully we will like our new office as much as our old office.

  1. Stef! I've been reading this book called "Beautiful Babies" by Kristin Michaelis that talks about what to eat to prevent stretch marks. She says you need to eat foods that will increase the elasticity in your skin. Your diet should be higher in saturated and monounsaturated fats, fish oil supplements (lots of Omega 3s and less Omega 6), and increased antioxidants (vitamins E, C, and A). Supplementing with gelatin is also recommended. I hope this helps!
