My mom used to make jalapeño ranch to bring to potlucks and other parties growing up and she makes it about every time I come home to visit!
It is so good you won't be able to resist double dipping.
So the recipe isn't very healthy to be honest so I did some experimenting with the recipe and I have come up with something a little better. It is still not the healthiest of foods but in moderation you can enjoy this without guilt :)
Jalapeño Ranch:
Jalapeño Ranch:
- 1 Bunch Cilantro
- 3/4 Cup of Half and Half
- 1 Package of Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1 Cup Low Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 Avocado
- 1/3 Cup Jalapeño from the jar
Mix everything together in a blender and enjoy with some tortilla chips or for a healthier snack carrot sticks are really good too!
We also used to put this on our BBQ burgers during the summertime to add some flavor and spice things up! However you decide to use it, I hope you enjoy!
