Weight: 14 lbs 4 oz
Medical: teething still and cold #2
Sleep: Our pediatrician recommended to start putting Cohen down for bed earlier around 7:00 or 7:30. When we went to New York we put him down for bed around 10:00 every night so that when we got back to California he would go down at 7:00. It worked really well for a while, he even slept from 7:00 to 7:00 twice! Then day light savings happened haha. Also we have developed a bedtime routine of bath, lotion, PJs, clean tooth/gums, and feed. Sometimes we get in a bedtime story but most of the time he's way too tired at this point.
Clothes: He's still in the Carters 6 month size and other brands 3-6 months size.
Diapers: We made the switch to size 2 while in New York!
Diet: breast milk still and we will probably start with some avocado in another month or so, he doesn't seem quite ready yet for solids but he definitely has an interest in food
Baby Gear Love: he really loves those small blankets with the ribbons at the end, his toy keys, he prefers chewing on his hands over chewing on his teething toys, bumbo seat
Firsts: first time to New York City (first for Daddy too), first time sitting in BUMBO, first time in cold weather
Milestones: becoming more vocal
Likes: other babies and kids, being talked to, grabbing daddy's facial hair or hair in general, chewing on his fingers, mirrors
Dislikes: SNOW SUIT! He hated getting into that thing while we were in New York, nose syringe or me touching his nose at all, fog horns
Things I want to remember:
-his trip to New York
-we went to his first baby sign language class this month
-the way he lights up when he sees kids and babies
-when he smiles so big when he sees me (especially the one time that I left him with Darin when I went to work)
-the way he just plays in his bed in the morning before I pick him up
-how everyone stops to look at how cute he is, he gets so many compliments!
Cohen, you are at such a fun age and we are loving this time with you. Mommy and daddy love you so much!
